Art and Soul Traders in Portsmouth and Southsea

At the junction of Clarendon Road and Waverly Road in Southsea you will find the Portsea Island mural by the Art and Soul Traders, a beloved Portsmouth landmark. The mural was first painted in 1988 and has been maintained and re-painted ever since, in 2010 it was damaged by a water leak and major renovation was carried out.

The map part of the mural depicts the whole of Portsea Island, showing major roads and landmarks around the city such as Fratton Park and Portsmouth Guildhall.

Incorporated in the mural are commissions from local businesses, local families and private homes. the mural is maintained with funding from donations, if you donate £50 you can have your portrait added to the mural! Donations can be made at the following address www.artandsoultraders.com
